For local businesses

Your neighbors are already looking for you.

Wildwood Living is the local magazine and directory people in Wildwood, Oxford and Sumter County use to find where to eat, who to call and what to explore next. I want your business to be easy to find for the people who are looking for exactly what you do.

Who's reading

  • A growing local readership, two local Facebook groups with over 9k members
  • 245+ neighbors following on Facebook
  • 130+ local businesses already in the directory

These are people who live here, just moved here or are deciding whether to. They come to Wildwood Living to find out what's around them.

Why I started Wildwood Living

I'm Florida born and raised, from the Winter Garden and Clermont area. But when I moved to Wildwood in 2019, I didn't know a single thing about it, and I couldn't find much online. So I went exploring: down side roads, past the farmland and historic spots, into parks and shops and businesses that still know people by name. I found a town that cares about how it grows and wants to grow together. Wildwood Living is how I share that, and local businesses are the heart of it.

Questions

Which option is right for me?
If you're just getting started, an Enhanced Business Profile is the best foundation. If you want to stay in front of people week after week, a sponsor spot works well. If you have a story worth telling or an event coming up, start there. Or just ask me and I'll help you pick.
What do I need to provide for a display ad?
A wide image (1600 × 900 pixels) without small text near the edges, a short headline, one or two lines about what you offer, and the page you want people to visit.
Will advertising change where my business appears in search or in stories?
No. Advertising is always labeled and never changes rankings, recommendations or editorial coverage.
Can I talk to someone before I commit?
Of course. Use the contact form and choose “Partnership”, and I'll get back to you personally.

Let's help your neighbors find you.

Wildwood is growing, and the businesses that care about this town should be the easiest ones to find. I'd love to help make that happen for you.
